Information We Collect
Engaged Arizona may collect information from you through various channels.
Engaged Arizona partners with WordPress, Automattic, and Jetpack to log general information including the country that you access our site from, the page that referred you to our site, any links that you click, any terms that you may search, and the pages that you view. It is not, in any way, associated with your name, IP address, or other personal information. This data is used mainly for “site traffic” reports. Our data partners do not store, use, or sell usage data, in accordance with a Data Processing Addendum, as agreed to by all parties.
Data from Third-Party Services
When you make a submission via MailChimp, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Drive, or via any other third-party source, Engaged Arizona uses the data provided to maintain communication with you based on your responses. This data will remain private and for use within Engaged Arizona and its affiliates unless otherwise noted for voter outreach purposes.
Engaged Arizona relies on community contributions to thrive as a non-profit organization. We partner with DonorBox and Stripe for Non-Profits and have formerly partnered with GoFundMe Charity to secure your payment information, IP address, browser information, and billing details. We will never release any payment or contribution information, unless where required by federal, state, or local law or a court mandate. For more information on contributions and our donor protection policies, please directly contact our Finance Team by phone at 602-888-6815 or by email at email@example.com.
Engaged Arizona uses user-submitted data for marketing, research, analytical, or voter engagement purposes. However, no information inputted directly through our website or its internal links will be sold, traded, released, or given to unauthorized third parties unless otherwise noted at the time of user submission. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) of 2018, residents of the State of California may request that any personal information they have submitted be destroyed by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 602-888-6815.
Engaged Arizona obtains voter information through registered databases and state, local, and federal governmental entities that sell or provide such data. Our organization does not distribute data to third parties except for our contracted software providers for storage and database maintenance. Engaged Arizona is not responsible for any inaccuracies in voting files or data provided by any source. Voter data is used to provide accurate election information, personalized candidate profiles, and increased communication between voters and our organization. Data is not used where prohibited by law.
