- As of the most recent update of this article, “Engaged Arizona” is a incorporated as a nonprofit corporation with the State of Arizona and the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC).
- Per A.R.S. § 10-820, Engaged Arizona has held regular meetings of the Board of Directors.
- As of today, revised Articles of Incorporation are pending with the ACC which contain clauses required by the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) to obtain 501(c)(3) status.
- Once these revised Articles are approved by the ACC, Engaged Arizona will apply to obtain 501(c)(3) federally tax-exempt status.
